The Romans Road App is designed to assist born-again Christians in effectively presenting the plan of salvation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to those who are unsaved or non-believers.
We believe that God has perfectly preserved His word (Psalm 12:6-7) in the King James Version (KJV) Holy Bible, emphasizing the importance of conveying the Gospel with the pure and incorruptible word of God (1 Peter 1:23). We hold that other modern Bible versions are corrupted and lack the power of salvation as they do not reflect the true word of God.
The act of saving an individual necessitates hearing the word of God from a born-again believer (Romans 10:17). It is crucial for the word of God to be shared and expounded upon by a saved Christian (1 Corinthians 2:14, Acts 8:31, & 2 Timothy 3:16). Even if an individual does not accept the gospel immediately, there remains a possibility for God to sow it in their heart over time, leading to eventual salvation (1 Corinthians 3:6-8).
Intercessory prayer for the unsaved, whether exposed to God's word or not, is deemed significant for those sharing the Gospel (Luke 8:12). The act of prayer is recognized as powerful and aligns with God's will (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, 1 John 5:14-15, & 1 Timothy 2:1-4).
In the pursuit of salvation, humility is paramount as pride can hinder an individual from accepting redemption (James 4:6). While receptiveness to the gospel varies among individuals, those with open hearts may receive divine guidance through born-again believers (Matthew 13:15, Matthew 7:7-8). It is understood that God knows and determines who can be saved (2 Timothy 2:25-26, John 6:44).
Every born-again believer carries the divine mandate to preach the gospel (Mark 16:15). Neglecting this duty is viewed unfavorably by God (Revelation 2:2-5).
The Romans Road App features a curated selection of scriptures aimed at aiding individuals in effectively preaching the gospel (1 Corinthians 2:4-6). The app emphasizes the necessity of utilizing God’s word for evangelism (Hebrews 4:12, 1 Corinthians 1:18-31), cautioning against relying on apologetics or engaging in debates during soul-winning efforts (1 Corinthians 2:7-16, Titus 3:9-11).
While the app presents specific passages for sharing the Gospel powerfully, users are encouraged to explore beyond these verses in their evangelistic endeavors.
The creation of this app stemmed from a personal need for guidance in effectively sharing the gospel following my own salvation experience.
